DADDY DUEZ update.

Dad's heart surgery did not take place today. Instead it will take place next Wednesday.

BUT it will be done and we are excited that he is a candidate for the new Minimally Ivasive DaVinci Robot Arm Heart surgery… (See http://www.intuitivesurgical.com/products/davinci_surgicalsystem/ and http://newsbureau.upmc.com/Medsurg3/daVinci05.htm.

His cardiologists Dr. Lopez-Candales http://findadoc.upmc.com/PhysicianBioQuery.aspx?ID=25002803&A=UPMC-PR, and Dr. Daniel Pellegrini (http://findadoc.upmc.com/PhysicianBioQuery.aspx?ID=25001308&A=UPMC-PR) are wonderful and took amazing care of him yesterday. Dr. Pelligrini's staff is amazing. Prior to that surgery, he will a undergo dental surgery first.

Please keep Dad, my step mom Fran and the family in your prayers. As always I pray very visually and with detail and ask our always gracious God for the wisdom and knowledge of Drs. Lopez-Candales and Pellegrini and their entire staff. Never really prayed for a robot before, but the heck!
